About Us

Hello,

I’m Liz. I started The Curious Caterpillar in 2007 after searching for party bags for my three children’s parties. I wanted to offer parents better value, better quality and more stylish choices, with contents children would enjoy playing with long after the party.

Today, we specialise in children’s party bags and party bag fillers. We offer an extensive range of themed party bags and mix-and-match contents, mainly for children aged 3–8, with options for different interests, budgets and party sizes.

Our Build Your Own party bags let you choose your bag, mix and match your favourite fillers, and add optional labels and sweets. With thousands of possible combinations across the range, you can create party bags to suit your celebration and control the cost per child.

Prefer the contents chosen for you? Our themed, ready-to-fill party bag sets make choosing easy. Explore classic paper party bags, smaller mini party bags and reusable cotton party bags, with a selection of toys, gifts and activities already picked out. All party bags are supplied unassembled, ready for you to fill at home.

From dinosaurs, jungle animals and football to unicorns, mermaids, pirates, woodland, fairies, farm and space, there’s plenty of choice to match your party theme. Our fillers include small toys, stickers, stationery, puzzles, novelty gifts, sweets and creative activities—available to buy individually or as part of a party bag.

For families looking to reduce plastic, our extensive eco-friendly range includes plastic-free party bags and fillers, reusable cotton bags and wooden activities. These sit alongside our traditional party bag favourites, giving you the freedom to choose what works for your guests and budget.

Our competitively priced craft kits and creative activities, including exclusive designs, are ideal for party bags, Christmas stocking fillers and screen-free play.
