Step by Step Instructions

Follow these simple steps to create your very own wind chime!

Decorate your wooden shape

Colour your wooden shape using paints, pens, pencils or crayons. Be as creative as you like!

Tip: Let the paint dry before moving to the next step.

Cut the thread

Using scissors, cut the thread into 5 pieces, each about 30 cm long.

Attach the wind chimes

Take one piece of thread and follow these steps:

  1. Thread it through a metal wind chime piece.
  2. Then thread it through one of the holes in the wooden shape.
  3. Tie a double knot to secure it.

Repeat this step for all 4 metal wind chime pieces.

Hang your windchime

Use the last piece of thread to attach to the top hole so you can hang your wind chime.

Find a nice spot where the wind can catch it and make music!
